Manager AO SR AdminDear Jefferson, thank you for your feedback. With a major change like this, there will always be room for improvement as well as time needed for adaptation. Some improvements are in the pipeline already and as we identify friction points, we'll do our best to iron them out. For the app - I'm afraid the old app will not be brought back. Currently, we are looking into the possibility of making an offline app with the new user interface. Best regards, L

Juan CastilloWe understand the app won´t be brought back, but at least give us a interface that works. I don´t know if it´s a browser problem or something else but the ao surgery reference isn´t working at all

d'hoore karelThe actual system is not user friendly, incomplete and a major step back. The previous ao surgical reference was perfect.

Manager AO SR AdminDear d'Hore Karel, thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are not content with our new user interface. Please note that all content is still there, however organized a little differently. Shortcuts are removed though, in favor of a powerful search function. Power users will need a bit of time to get used to the new UI though as some of the logic is changed. Best regards, Lars

Diogo ConstantinoPrevious app showed all options for a large group of fractures belonging to the same anatomic area: all approaches, all positionings, all fixation methods. Much much more useful when doing a quick search before a case. Much simpler to use when you want a broader picture of the options you have when approaching a case. Easier to use when studying and looking to review a specific approach or fixation, when you don't know it's exact name to search for. Please give previous UI as an option.

Manager AO SR AdminDear Diogo, thank you very much for your feedback. The shortcuts are replaced by the search (to declutter the user interface). Tap the search icon, then filter out your own overview of approaches, preparations, and procedures for any module (for approaches to the knee: Orthopedic Trauma - Ault trauma - Distal femur and Proximal Tibia - Approaches). Give it a go and let me know how it went. That said, re-introduction of shortcuts will be re-evaluated once we do user interviews. Best regards, Lars

Egbert krugThe former app was user friendly and fast, it was a perfect app for quick reference before operation especially for last minute checking different approaches and dangers. Now I cannot find anything and especially no approaches. To me it has completely lost its use which I regret very much. It is a sad attempted to put in as much information as possible which is the proven formula for total loss of functionality. Please Lets get back to the former app.
-
29 May, '20
Manager AO SR AdminDear Egbert, than you for your feedback. For the approaches, you will find them either as hyperlinks within the procedures (where relevant) or through search. The new UI also allows you to configure custom overviews (For all approaches around the knee: Click the search button and use these filters - Orthopedic trauma - adult trauma - approach - distal femur - patella proximal tibia). Everything is there, but to declutter, overviews were replaced by an improved search function. Best regards, L

SandilePlease bring back the previous version/ app. Was very user friendly and helpful. Current one is NOT.
-
05 Jun, '20
Manager AO SR AdminDear Sandile, thank you for your feedback. Although some of the users who "cracked" the code of the previous UI has some difficulty in adapting to the changes, I am afraid we cannot return to the old UI. However, improvements can still be made with the new UI and I would be happy to receive concrete feedback on the issues you are experiencing. Meanwhile, please have a look at our FAQ page where you'll find some tips on how to deal with the biggest changes. Best regards, Lars

Manager AO SR AdminDear Yogesh, thank you for your feedback. I'd like to draw your attention to our FAQ, I believe you'll find some useful pointers there. There are some big changes and once you spent a little time on it (and explore search/filters) you'll see, the bullock-cart is on board a spaceship ;-) If not, please let us know more specifically where you have issues, otherwise, it is hard for us to improve. With kind regards, Lars

AJCassar-GheiriPrevious application had a much better user interface, easy and simple to use with more information. The new app/webbased is not as user friendly as the old one.
